DITS AND DATS
DITS AND DATS (DAD) is a twist on an old game that tests your
logical thinking. Anyone that enjoys a challenge in logic can't
miss this one. It is programmed to run with EGA/VGA monitor.
It may reside on floppy disk or hard disk.
There are 10 numbers (0 through 9). You select a four digit number
without repeating a digit. Your opponent does the same. Then you each
try to guess the other's number. The first one to do so is the winner
If a digit is in the proper slot it is called a 'DAT'. If the digit
is not in the proper slot it is called a 'DIT'.
Example: Your number is '9803' and your opponent guesses '8923'
The result is: 2 DITS for the 8 and 9
1 DAT for the 3
You can play against another person or against the computer. With the
computer, you can play 3 different ways:
1. One on one - You and the computer both select a number.
2. The computer is passive - You guess Computer's number.
3. The computer is active - Computer guesses your number.
The game is called if someone has not won by 15 tries.
The computer will always referee the game, even when it is an active
player. However, the computer never 'LOOKS' at your number when it
is guessing. Honest!!!
